I have the pleasure to inform you
that with a support from a team of dedicated individuals GBCC is actively
involved in providing services to the entire Bhutanese community in Colorado. Despite
of their tight work schedule every individual in the team has committed some
time to voluntarily serve GBCC at different level to ensure smooth integration of
community in to the main stream population. Therefore I on behalf of the entire
team would like to request everyone to come together so that no individual or a
group is excluded from the services provided by GBCC.
Meanwhile, I would like to take
this opportunity to reiterate the fact that we are now in the fifth year since
the resettlements begin and we are eligible to apply for citizenship now. I
encourage everyone to prepare for citizenship test, become a citizen of this
great nation and make a difference in your life.
Realizing the need of the community, GBCC has been providing apartment base ESL and citizenship classes at different location with the help of the community volunteers. Hence I would like to request everyone, especially the elderly population to make use of this opportunity and prepare for the citizenship test.

I am indeed, very much please to
inform you all that beside website, GBCC has taken an initiative to create a
community Google groups with the idea to connect entire community and to make
GBCC more community base organization. Therefore I would like to request
everyone to give your email to any of the team member to add you in the Google
groups. Very soon we will start updating the activities, any opportunities and
the progress of GBCC both through Google groups and website.
Well, GBCC today is not in a
strong footing to provide services to your expectation. However as we move
forward we expect your participation, your feedback and suggestions for
continuous improvement and holistic growth of GBCC so that it can molded to
better serve our community in all times to come.
